For the love of dogs
Dog Paper Dolls is a small, growing collection of printable paper dolls, one breed at a time.
Dog Paper Dolls started with a memory. My daughter, who's grown now, used to spend hours making her own paper creations: drawing, cutting, building whatever a game needed out of nothing but paper and imagination. Watching that kind of play always stuck with me.
Years later, with a love of dogs and that memory still in mind, the idea just clicked: paper dolls, but the dog is the doll. The kind of thing a kid who loved making her own paper world would have loved.
What started as one printable for one dog grew into something bigger: a small project made to help parents and teachers everywhere pull together a genuinely fun craft moment for the kids in their lives, anytime they need one.
Each breed that's added gets its own printable sheet, complete with a fold-out stand and a wardrobe of cut-and-fold outfits and accessories. Coloring, cutting, and dressing up is hands-on and screen-free — the kind of play that sparks imagination and gives kids a small, satisfying outlet for creativity. Getting kids into that kind of play — making something themselves, losing track of time in their own imagination — matters, and that's really what this whole project is about.
Dog Paper Dolls is for anyone who loves dogs, really — kids looking for a screen-free afternoon, parents looking for a quiet craft activity, teachers filling a few minutes between lessons, homeschool families building a craft afternoon around a favorite breed. Every printable is designed to be easy to print at home, simple enough for small hands to cut, and detailed enough to stay genuinely fun — no matter who's holding the scissors.
